February was a big month. Componentry is now on your phone, activities include weather data, and predictive intelligence is coming.
Mobile Apps — Now Available
Componentry for iPhone and Android is live and available to all users. Manage your bikes, track component wear, set reminders, and view activities — all from your pocket.
Five updates shipped this month alone, including unit preferences, weather data on activities, component editing, and pull-to-refresh across your gear.
Download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Weather-Enriched Activities
Every activity now includes weather conditions automatically. Temperature, wind, rain — captured and tagged without lifting a finger.
Wet ride? Snowy commute? Componentry tags it so you can see how conditions affect your gear over time. A chain ridden through 30 wet rides wears differently to one that's only seen dry tarmac — now you have the data to prove it.
Real-Time Strava Sync
No more waiting. Activities from Strava now sync the moment they land. Your component wear updates in real time, activity names stay in sync, and Componentry detects whether Strava is your primary source or a pass-through from Garmin or Wahoo.
Bulk Activity Management
Select multiple activities. Reassign bikes, apply tags, or delete — all at once. Managing a backlog of rides just got significantly faster.
Import Bikes from Strava
Already have bikes set up in Strava? Import them directly from your gear page. One click, and your existing setup carries over — no need to rebuild what you've already configured.
Garmin Provider Improvements
Garmin authentication is now more reliable across web and mobile, with proper token deregistration and improved error handling.
Coming Soon: Predictive Intelligence
We're building predictive intelligence into Componentry. Here's what's in progress:
- Race Day Readiness — A pre-event check that tells you if your bike is ready to race, based on current component wear and upcoming service windows.
- Wear Rate Per Week — See how fast each component is wearing based on your actual riding patterns, not generic estimates.
- Predicted Remaining Wear — Know exactly how many kilometres or weeks are left before a component needs attention.
Stop guessing. Start knowing — before it matters most.
