See the Watts a Dirty Chain Is Costing You
Your chain's condition quietly costs you watts, and now you can see how many, and how many you'd get back with a clean and fresh wax or lube. Every chain in your gear list shows an estimated recoverable-watts figure, broken down into contamination, lubrication state, and chain stretch, and the number rolls up to your bike cards so a neglected chain is visible at a glance.
Mark your chain's lube reminder complete and the estimate re-evaluates from a fresh baseline. It's live on web and mobile, and it phrases the recovery plainly: "Recover 3.1 watts," not a label you have to decode.
A Checklist That Shows Your Whole Setup Journey
Getting started used to show one prompt at a time, so you could never tell how much was left. Your dashboard now opens with a checklist of the five steps that get your bikes fully tracked, all visible at once, with your progress on top. Steps tick themselves off from your real data, the next one expands with a quick way to jump in, and you can start wherever you like.
It's the same five steps in the same order on web and mobile, and it retires for good once you're done, on every device you sign in from.
Reminders That Sort Themselves by Urgency
Almost every reminder used to carry the same label, whether it was due in three days or eight months. Reminders now fall into four states: Overdue, Due Soon, Upcoming, and Scheduled, and your dashboard only shows what's actually live. Distance and ride-count reminders now rank alongside dated ones instead of sitting at the bottom, so "30 km to go" shows up where it belongs.

Record Whether Your Chain Runs on Wax
A new Waxed toggle on chains lets you record whether a chain is wax-lubricated, in the chain's own details or right in a service note or maintenance check. Your component list shows Waxed or Lubricant next to the chain at a glance, and it feeds straight into your Drivetrain Power Loss estimate, since a waxed chain stays cleaner for longer. Available on web and mobile.
A Personalised Wear Number You Can Trust
When a component has a personalised prediction, its wear bar now uses that predicted lifespan instead of the manufacturer's distance rating, while age and usage-hours limits can still take over when they matter more. The component view labels the wear figure with the measure behind it (distance, duration, time, or predictive), and a sparkles badge flags components with a personalised prediction. It's the same number, the same colour, and the same reasoning on web and mobile.

- Pair rides with Strava yourself. Pick the right match from your twenty most recent Strava activities when an automatic pairing doesn't land, and swap or disconnect it whenever you need.
- See exactly how a ride picks its profile. A new "How profiles work" panel on the bike page shows which profile a hypothetical ride would match, and why.
- A proper welcome on mobile. New installs open with a five-screen tour of what Componentry does, shown once and available in every supported language.
A Round of Fixes
- Karoo ride times are corrected. Rides synced from a Hammerhead Karoo were recording a ride time up to a thousand times too long, plus the wrong start time. Every existing ride has been repaired and affected components recalculated, no re-import needed.
- Reassigning several activities to a new bike now re-applies each one's profile correctly, instead of keeping the profile from the old bike.
- Replacement dates further than two years out now read as "2+ years" instead of an implausibly precise date, on web and mobile.
- New accounts on a previously-used device now see their setup checklist from the first launch, instead of an empty home screen.
