June was about seeing more of what your bike, and your rides, are telling you, without extra steps. A Maintenance Check gives you a fast way to log a look-over without opening a full service, battery status brings what your bike computer already records about your electronics onto your dashboard, and mobile picked up support chat everywhere you need it. Here's what shipped.

A Quicker Way to Check Your Bike

Not every trip to the workstand is a full service. A Maintenance Check is a stripped-back record for when you just want to look the bike over: eyeball the brakes, check the tires, measure chain stretch, and note what you found. You get a date, the bike, an overall note, and a note against any installed component. Nothing to retire, nothing to replace, just your observations saved so you can watch how readings move from one check to the next.

Found more work than you expected? Open the check and choose Swap to Service Log. Your date and notes carry straight across, and the full service log opens up so you can retire worn parts and fit replacements.

See the Battery Status of Your Electronics

Your bike computer already records the battery level of the electronics it talks to on a ride: electronic shifting, power meters, and sensors. Componentry now brings that to the web. Each recent activity on your dashboard shows a small battery badge for every device that reported in, colour-coded so anything that needs attention stands out: green is healthy, amber is low, and red is critical.

Open any activity from your history for the full readout under Reported Electronics. It's an easy way to catch a fading shifter or sensor battery before it leaves you stranded mid-ride.

Support, One Tap Away on Mobile

Reaching us on mobile no longer means a trip into Settings. A support button now sits in the top-right of the screens you use most: Activities, Bikes, and every bike section from Components through to Race-day Readiness. Open it and you get the in-app chat from wherever you are, so you can message us directly.

A Round of Mobile Fixes

The mobile app also picked up a batch of fixes this month:

  • Sensor battery status is now accurate everywhere it appears (activity detail, the latest-activity card, and the iOS home-screen widget), so healthy sensors reporting "ok", "new", or "charging" are no longer flagged as low.
  • Two-factor authentication now works in the app. Enter your 6-digit code right after signing in to unblock name and profile-picture updates and your account details.
  • Picking a new profile picture opens your photo library directly, with a square crop.
  • Updating your name now confirms as soon as it's saved.

On the Blog

Four new guides this month:

  • The Quick Maintenance Check: Catching Brake, Tire and Chain Wear Early — how a two-minute look over the bike turns one-off glances into a trend you can act on.
  • Your Service History Is Your Resale Value — what documented maintenance records are worth when it's time to sell.
  • How Often Should You Re-Wax Your Bike Chain? — the data-backed intervals for hot-melt wax and drip lubes, and the cues that say you've waited too long.
  • Di2 Battery Life: How to Track, Extend, and Never Get Caught Dead on a Climb — battery expectations for electronic shifting, and how to stay ahead of a flat.
