Recoverable watts, where you can actually see them
Componentry works out how much power a dirty, dry chain is costing you, and how much of it a clean and re-lube would win back. Until now that number sat in the top corner of your bike card as a small chip, sharing space with DEFAULT and MOST USED. It read like a label rather than a finding, and it was easy to scroll straight past.
It now runs the full width of the card instead, as a band across the bottom: the field name on the left, the figure on the right in the same monospace the rest of your data uses. Same colour, same number, considerably harder to miss.
You will see it in two places. On Home it closes out each bike's entry, under the components, sensors and reminders counts. On a bike's own screen it sits along the bottom of the Components card. Both read the same estimate, so the two screens can't disagree about what your chain is costing you.
Where the model had to assume something — usually because nothing has told it when the chain was last lubed — the figure is still flagged as an estimate. Tap through to the chain itself for the full drivetrain power loss breakdown, including where the watts are going and how confident the model is.
What's due, on the component list
Your bike's component list has always told you what's worn. It now tells you what's due as well.
A component carrying reminders shows a small bell and a count next to its name, so you can see at a glance that something is scheduled for it. If any of those reminders are overdue or due soon, they're listed under the wear bar: the reminder's name on the left, where it stands on the right, red for overdue and amber for due soon.
Only the urgent ones show up. A component whose reminders are all comfortably ahead shows the count and nothing else, so the rows that speak up are the ones worth reading and the list stays as short as it was. Where more than two need attention, the first two are listed and the rest collapse into a count. The full set is still on the component's own screen.
Retired components stay quiet. A reminder on a part that's off the bike isn't something you need to act on.
Also in this release
Watt figures now spell out the unit — "4.2 watts" rather than "4.2 W" — on the bike cards, and Polish now uses the correct plural forms for them.
Overdue and due-soon reminder text is a darker red and amber everywhere it appears — your bike's reminder list, the Home card, and a component's own screen — so it meets contrast requirements at smaller sizes.
