Connect a ride app and import your bikes and rides in one go, and each setup step now shows what it unlocks
Connect and import in one go
When you connect Strava, Componentry now takes you straight to importing your bikes and then your past rides, in one panel. Garmin, Wahoo and Hammerhead go straight to importing your past rides.
A step counter shows where you are, and you can skip any step and come back to it from the Apps screen.
Before you import rides, Componentry tells you where they will go: to the matching bike, to your default bike, or waiting for a bike if you have none yet. Rides on a bike count towards component wear.
After you import bikes from Strava, Componentry takes you to set up the parts on them.
Improvements
Each step in "Set up your bikes" now has a gold badge that shows what it unlocks, such as rides that sync automatically or wear tracked for every part. When you finish a step, the badge fills in to show what is now working.
The setup steps have clearer names. For example, "Connect a data source" is now "Connect your ride app", and it lists Hammerhead with Strava, Garmin and Wahoo.
When you finish every step, the confirmation lists everything you unlocked.
The "Import from Strava" button on the add-a-bike step now shows only when Strava is connected. If you use Garmin, Wahoo or Hammerhead, the step offers "Add a bike" instead.
