v0.20.1 - May 27, 2026

New 'Set up with a template' shortcut on the bike detail page for bikes that only have a starter Chain, plus the wizard now skips anything already on the bike.

Finish setting up your starter bike in one click

New bikes now land with a starter Chain so wear tracking can begin right away. To make it easy to finish the rest of the setup, the bike detail page has a new shortcut whenever a bike still only has that one Chain on it.

  • Component Wear card. A Set up with a template button now sits in the top-right of the card header, taking you straight into the setup wizard so you can add the rest of your components in one go.
  • Components card. The same Set up with a template button appears beside the Add component button. The Add component button is softened so the template flow is the clear primary action.
  • Both shortcuts disappear as soon as the bike has more than a Chain, so they only show up when they're actually useful.

The setup wizard skips what's already on your bike

If you run the wizard on a bike that already has some components, those components are no longer pre-filled in the list.

  • The auto-added Chain won't be duplicated when you use the new shortcut above.
  • The same applies if you've added a few components manually and later decide to run a template — the wizard will only offer the ones you're missing.
  • If every component in the template is already on the bike, the wizard tells you there's nothing left to add and sends you back to the bike page.
