Reminders follow the part
When you retire a component in a service log and fit its replacement, the reminders you had set up now move across the moment you mark the service completed. Same schedule, same distance interval, same pause state, with the clock and the odometer reset to the day the new part went on. Rename-aware too: "Old chain: Lube/Wax chain" becomes "New chain: Lube/Wax chain".
That matters most for chains. The power-loss estimate reads your lubrication reminder to know how long it has been since the last lube. Before this change a replacement chain started with no reminder at all, so completing the old chain's lube reminder did nothing to the recoverable-watts figure. Now the new chain inherits the reminder, and ticking it off in a service log drops the estimate straight away.
A retired part with no replacement loses its reminders when the service is completed, so nothing lingers on a component that is no longer on the bike. The service log tells you this ahead of time while a retired part still carries reminders.
Existing service history has been brought in line: replacements fitted in past completed services have picked up the reminders their predecessors carried.

- Completing a lubrication reminder that is attached to a component but not a bike now refreshes that bike's predictions as well.
