v0.47.1 - September 15, 2026

Gravel, mountain bike, e-bike and other Garmin ride profiles now sync

More Garmin Ride Types Sync

Componentry only accepted three Garmin activity profiles: Cycling, Road Cycling and Indoor Cycling. A ride recorded on any other bike profile arrived from Garmin and was quietly ignored, so riders using the Gravel/Unpaved profile on an Edge saw the sync notification but never got the ride.

Every Garmin cycling profile now comes through: gravel, mountain bike, cyclocross, track, recumbent, downhill, enduro, BMX, e-bike, e-mountain bike, e-enduro, handcycle, virtual ride and indoor handcycle. Each one carries the right indoor or outdoor classification for weather and wear, and shows a proper name in the activity list.

If rides went missing since you switched profile, run a Garmin historical import from the Apps page and they will be filled in.

FIT file uploads recorded on a Garmin device also map these sub-sports to the same types instead of falling back to a generic ride.
