Duration reminders count hours of riding, so suspension forks, shocks and droppers get serviced on the schedule their makers set
Reminders by hours of riding
Reminders now have a fourth rule: Duration. Set "repeat every 250 hours of riding" and Componentry counts the ride time on the linked part or bike, from the rides it already knows about.
A duration reminder works like a distance one. It shows the hours left, falls due when they reach zero, notifies you again every interval until you complete it, and restarts from the current ride time when you do.
On a part, the hours are that part's own ride time, so a new fork starts from zero. On a bike, they are every ride stored for the bike.
Combine duration with time, distance and ride-count rules on one reminder; it comes due on whichever is reached first.
Reminders carried over to a replacement part keep their duration rule and start again from zero hours.
The Suspension component type now comes with two suggested reminders: a lower-leg service every 50 hours and a full service every 200 hours. Edit the hours to match your fork or shock.
The AI assistant connector can create duration reminders ("every 125 hours of riding") and reports hours of riding left in what's due.
