Clearer answers when you connect a fitness account
Connecting Strava, Wahoo, Garmin or Hammerhead now explains itself when something is in the way, and a few rough edges around connecting and disconnecting are gone.
- An account already linked elsewhere is named as such — each fitness account connects to one Componentry account. If the one you are connecting is already linked to another, you are now told so directly, instead of being asked to try again on something a retry could never resolve.
- Connection messages appear once — status messages after connecting no longer show twice.
- Disconnecting frees the account immediately — disconnect a fitness account and it is ready to connect somewhere else straight away.
- Reconnecting brings a connection fully back — reconnecting an account you already had linked refreshes it properly, including when it had gone stale.
- Closing your account hands back its connections — deleting a Componentry account now releases the fitness accounts it was linked to, so nothing keeps syncing afterwards and they are free to use again.
If connecting a fitness account failed for you recently and you were asked to try again, it is worth another go — the message will now tell you if it is linked to another Componentry account.
