Garmin imports and ride weather
Importing your Garmin history now tells you where you stand before you start, and weather stopped going missing on rides that should always have had it.
- Garmin history says up front whether it can run — importing past rides from Garmin needs the "Export Your Data" permission on Garmin's consent screen. Componentry now checks that permission when you connect and keeps it up to date, so if it is missing you see exactly what to do instead of starting an import that cannot finish.
- Turning the permission on takes effect straight away — grant "Export Your Data" and the import unlocks itself, with no need to try an import first to find out.
- Rides that were missing weather now have it — some rides were being looked up against the wrong day and ended up with no conditions recorded at all. They now get the weather they were actually ridden in, wherever and whenever they happened.
If a Garmin history import quietly did nothing for you before, open Apps & Integrations — it will now either run or tell you exactly what it needs.
